Notebook Card on the Tor Guide Desk
Hedges on paper. Not a scorecard.
A useful field notebook records the conditions under which a judgment was made. Beside this tor guide, that means dates, source classes, whether a document was signed, and where uncertainty stopped the inquiry. Writing the word unsigned can preserve more truth than copying another screenful of addresses.
The notebook is not a buyer checklist. It should contain no vendor rankings, product comparisons, wallet details, destination accounts, or sequence of transactional steps. Record the conclusion in bounded language: citation observed; signature not independently verified; capture date unknown; stopped after fatigue; full string not retained. Hedges are not evasions when they map the edge of the evidence. They help a future reader know what must be checked again.
Where substance-related discussion appears, a private reminder can point toward established public-health guidance, test services where available, naloxone access where relevant, and avoiding use alone. Those notes concern harm reduction, not evaluation of listings or vendors.
II. Onion itinerary ruined by a shopping list
Checkboxes invite completion. A seven-brand list can turn a limited reading exercise into a collecting task even if no purchase appears on the page. Replace completion boxes with one question and one stopping condition so leaving early remains an intended outcome.
Do not copy every cited onion into a consolidated sheet. Consolidation strips dates and qualifications, then creates an attractive object for forwarding. If a string must be studied, keep it beside its individual source record and remove it when the research purpose ends.
Scores are especially deceptive because numbers look measured. Without access to transactions, dispute records, and a defensible sampling method, star ratings are impressions wearing arithmetic. This station has no basis for producing them and does not encourage readers to maintain them.
